1 Hour Basket Tutorial

***** Please note, this pattern is no longer free or available as a tutorial.  It may only be found in my Etsy shop.

Ok, here it is!  I promised I write a tutorial and I did!  I thought it would be a bit easier if I put the tutorial in PDF format on Craftsy so you can easily download and/or print rather than scroll through my blog post.   I wrote this up pretty quickly so there may be a mistake or two, forgive me!  Also, if you like this style basket and want to step it up, Anna has a beautiful Divided Basket Pattern you should check out!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do the right thing and tag or link back to me, my blog, or Etsy site if you post pictures/blog/sell the basket!  I'm @kelbysews on IG and Twitter or use #kelbysews #hourbasket

I saw this basket on Instagram and was going to look up your blog, forgetting that I already follow you! (silly me). I love it and it will be perfect to putdiapers in for my granddaughter that's coming in July!
Thanks so much for such a great tutorial!

Thanks so much for the great tutorial Kelly! I'm hosting a basket swap on Threadbias and posted a link to yours as a perfect example of one to make and credited you😉. I love the simplicity of this and I know I'll be making a lot of these for gifts! I'll be sure to remind folks to tag their projects if they post on IG😄 Many thanks again!

I found this on Instagram and I LOVE it! I've made four baskets so far. :)

Thanks for sharing this pattern! I'm seeing other things here on your blog that I want to try.

Hi there Kelly,
I can't seem to find the tutorial for this basket. I checked your Craftsy store, but only saw your wonky alphabet there.
Could you please forward a link for this tutorial? It would be much appreciated!

The link to the tutorial isn't working. Can you provide a link where I can get the tutorial? Not available on Craftsy.....what a bummer! I wanted to make these for my granddaughters.

I made this basket for a swap in a cute sheep print for a knitter. Now I want to make lots and lots more! I'm going scrappy on them next? Super cute and super easy!

Such an easy pattern. Thanks for sharing with us. I joined a swap on Instagram and pretty much made one this morning. I am having problems with having the fusible attaching to the outer fabric. I have used a wet press cloth but it is still crinkly and I don't want to send that one to my swap partner. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I made 3 this past week and wrote about them here. http://www.onauntmildredsporch.com/2016/01/the-one-hour-basket-addiction.html

The directions on the PDF are fantastic and I am here to tell you that it took me an hour, no problem!!

This is the best basket pattern I have made so far. Because the designer allowed for "turn of the cloth" the lining fits perfectly with no wrinkles. I made one of these for every one of my sewing machines to keep the foot pedal, bobbins, cams and other attachments in. Love this basket!!

I bought your pattern on Craftsy because I wanted the specifications for the design on the Amanda bag. Disappointed to find that you offer no direction for this, only a picture. Please provide more information. Thank you.

I would like to make this one hour basket. Can you confirm what the finished dimensions are? I've looked and do not see this on the tutorial or your blog. If so, I'm missing it Please direct me.

Thank you,
Michelle
